DIY TERRA COTTA CLAY PENDANTS

I have seen several ideas for DIY  terra cotta pendants for your Doterra oils.   So I tried my hand at it and this is what I came up with.   I tried a couple of different mediums, (clays),but ended up with the Mexican Pottery.  It air dries and is easy to work with and has the look I wanted.   I wanted the pottery look, so it would be porus for the essential oils to absorb.  You don't want a surface that is sealed.  I also added a little "bling"   While the clay was soft was soft I added a slight indention to hold the  crystal.  Now I might continue to add some other beads.   Who knows what I will add and come up with.  I do know I will try some more of these.  Different sizes and shapes.

  1. Hi, I'm glad you got your pennants made. I finally saw your comment on my blog when I was deleting things from the spam comment folder. I don't know why it was in there but I'm glad I noticed it and found your blog! I joined doTERRA Jan 31st and I love your posts. I haven't had much time to explore doing aything with the oils besides rub them on when the need arises. I want to more more things with them. I put On Guard on my pennant mostly. I love the smell and it lasts on it for 5-7 days. I had a very healthy Feb/March after being sick a lot in Dec/Jan. I love On Guard!

I haven't had much time to stamp either. My blog is sorely neglected lately! I'm trying to find a way to balance Stampin' Up and doTERRA!
